Dark Souls Trilogy Collector’s Edition announced for Europe

Bandai Namco recently announced that Dark Souls Trilogy will be coming to Europe this March. When the trilogy was released in Japan, there was a fancy (and rather expensive) Trilogy Box released that included a host of goodies. Bandai Namco has revealed that a similar Collector’s Edition will be making its way to Europe.

As well as a copy of each of the games (which also includes all the previously released DLC), the Collector’s Edition comes with:

  • A hand-painted 34cm Elite Knight at the Bonfire statue (which is also numbered).
  • The Dark Souls Trilogy soundtrack – six CDs with music from all three games.
  • A 460-page Dark Souls Trilogy compendium – By Future Press, it contains illustrated maps with boss and NPC locations, item encyclopedia, a bestiary of enemies and bosses, and a manuscript of all dialogue from each game. Plus it has a bookmark ribbon and limited art prints.

The Collector’s Edition is limited to just 2000 units and if you want one yourself then it will cost you £449.99 (that’s around €510 / $580 / 750 Mars bars).

While the Dark Souls Trilogy is released for PS4 and Xbox One on 1 March 2019, you’ll have to wait a little longer for the Collector’s Edition, which will be shipped out from 31 May 2019. According to Bandai Namco, the extra wait is due to the time needed to hand-paint each statue to the highest quality.

If you’ve got a spare £449.99, the Dark Souls Trilogy Collector’s Edition can be pre-ordered at the Bandai Namco store.
