Krytens descend on London for Red Dwarf XII series finale

A number of Series 4000 mechanoids descended on London for a special screening of the Red Dwarf XII series finale. (It’s normally filmed at Pinewood Studios in front of a live studio audience.)

The episode, entitled “Skipper” – which is sidesplittingly hilarious – sees Rimmer (Chris Barrie) deciding to leave the ship and the rest of the crew – Lister (Craig Charles), the Cat (Danny John-Jules) and Kryten (Robert Llewellyn) in search of a parallel universe where he isn’t such a massive loser. The episode features a whole host of surprises and star cameos, including the return of the ship’s computer and fan favourite Holly (Norman Lovett).

Red Dwarf XII has not disappointed and frankly it’s seen the rag-tag, last-remaining survivors of the Jupiter Mining Corporation vessel Red Dwarf in some of the finest sci-fi comedy since season 6.

Let’s just remind ourselves of Hitler “selfie!” invisible beer and the Red Dwarf election campaign.

The entire Red Dwarf XII series is available to catch up on UKTVPlay and every episode of Red Dwarf XII is reviewed here.

The final episode airs on Thursday 16th November on Dave at 9pm with the full series available on UKTV Play.
