And the Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz and Oded Fehr cameos are being kept under wraps so well!
…sigh…
While we miss the old crew an awful lot there’s some stuff here which piques our interest. Russell Crowe’s character, who is apparently Doctor Jekyll, has a delightlful library/containment facility and we would really like to know who those Special Forces looking chaps who seem to have dedicated anti-Mummy tech are. There’s also an interesting hint that Cruise’s character’s immortality is conditional on The Mummy’s plans here, which suggests he may not be stepping across to any of the other movies. Or she wins and London turns into a desert. Which would be a Hell of a twist but one we’re not exactly expecting.
The Mummy is due for release on 9 June in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D
