Casting news throws character’s future in doubt >>>

Don’t.
Panic.
Seriously.
We know this looks like more Schrodinger’s Glen nonsense but trust us, there’s no extra swerve coming. Glenn, like Abe, is dead. And Glenn, like Abe, may not be done with the show anyway. We really enjoy, and are very interested by, The Walking Dead‘s unusual approach to this side of its world. There’s a reading of the season 7 finale in particular that puts every scene with Abe into a supernatural space much like elements of Tyreese’s death a couple of years ago. Or it was just hallucinations. The beauty of it is both explanations work.
Which is also why Glenn’s possible return could work. Talking to TV Line‘s Michael Ausiello, Scott Gimple was remarkably upfront about the possibility of seeing Glenn again.
As Maggie gets closer to giving birth, it’s “certainly possible,” says EP Gimple, that Steven Yeun might reprise his role for some newly created flashbacks or a vision or something. “I’d be silly to say it isn’t.”
He hints at a little more in the main article, including how little time has passed in Maggie’s pregnancy and how that could be a factor in any visions of Glenn. Regardless, we like how open the show is to the possibility and also welcome any chance to see him again. Sure, Steven Yeun is doing great work on Voltron but we really do still miss Glenn.
The Walking Dead is back later this year and Fear The Walking Dead returns on 5 June.

Rampage may have the best cast we’ve ever seen on a monster movie, let alone a video game adaptation. In addition to Dwayne Johnson, Malin Akerman and Joe Manganiello it can now sport everyone’s favourite paternal demon hunter/baseball bat wielding sociopath. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, seen most recently on The Walking Dead, has joined the cast as Agent Morgan. Described as an agent of OGA (We’re betting Office of Giant Anthropods or something similar) Deadline describe him as someone who ‘rolls with serious swagger and attitude’
So Morgan’s got this in the bag, basically.
The movie, based on classic ‘80s video game Rampage, sees three giant monsters wreak havoc across the US and only Dwayne Johnson’s character can stop them. It’s director Brad Peyton has worked with Johnson before on San Andreas and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island so he’s got the action skills to pull this off. We’ll find out 20 April next year just how the movie hangs together.

The Walking Dead‘s prequel/spinoff show, Fear The Walking Dead finished it’s second season with a strong two part finale that saw the family torn apart and Nick in the world of trouble at the US/Mexico border. We can now reveal that the first half of season 3, consisting of eight episodes will air on 5 June on the AMC Channel and the first episode will be simulcast for free on BT Showcase in the UK. Better still, the first two and last two episodes will air back-to-back and the premiere duo will air simultaneously with the US Premiere.
It promises to be a great season too. As well as Nick and Luciana having to deal with the US militia group who ambushed them on the border we’ve got Madison and Travis reconnecting at the best and worst possible time. Also Strand finally getting his feet back under him, Ofelia being held captive and Alicia, as usual, being the series designated adult.
In addition, the new series adds Daniel Sharman and Sam Underwood as well as Sons of Anarchy‘s Dayton Callie. They’ll play the Otto family, the founders of a survivalist organization who anticipated the fall of democracy but not the rise of the dead. Also joining the cast is Lisandra Tena as Lola Guerrero. More on her and the other new characters as we get it.
Every now and then a movie comes out of nowhere with an amazing cast, an interesting premise and a really fun visual style. This is one of those times. Mindgamers stars Sam Neill (Hunt For The Wilderpeople, Jurassic Park, a legion of other classics), Tom Payne (The Walking Dead) and Dominique Tipper (The Expanse). Here’s the trailer:
Doesn’t that look great?! The Dreamcage have more details and the movie itself is out on DVD and Blu-Ray in May. We’re so there.
