Warner Bros. has released an official UK trailer for Rurouni Kenshin 2: Kyoto Inferno, which hits UK cinemas this Friday.
Our reviewer liked the first Rurouni Kenshin movie quite a lot when he reviewed it back in MyM Issue 19, so we’re looking forward to catching the sequel…
A third preview of the upcoming Hunter x Hunter film has been released. Based on the manga by Yoshihiro Togashi and the subsequent anime directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Rurouni Kenshin), Hunter x Hunter: Phantom Rouge focuses on the character Kurapika, who became a Hunter to exact his revenge on the Phantom Troupe for massacring his clan. The Kurta Clan that Kurapika belonged to was targeted because of their eyes, which turn scarlet red in times of anger or emotional agitation. The plot of Phantom Rouge involves Kurapika’s eyes being stolen; in his quest to get them back, the true identity of the person with the number 4 spider tattoo will be revealed. The film will be out in Japan on 12 January 2013.
