Captain America: Civil War Press Conference LIVE BLOG

We were live at the Captain America: Civil War London Press Conference, see updates as they happened…

15.04 And with that we’re done! Hope you enjoyed the fun.

15.03 Mackie: “I have the biggest trailer. But Robert has five of them.” Bruhl: “I was invited to Robert Downey Jr’s village.”

15.02 What would superheroes be like in the real world? Evans: “In the real world I’d be Team Iron Man! There’d have to be oversight.

15.01 Is there an intermission in this press conference?

14.59 How hard is it to look like that? Evans: “I think it’s me, that’s not CG is it?” “I genuinely messed something up in my arm on the helicopter scene.” “There were many days I’d come into DJR’s trailer (almost namechecks Batman!) and he has cool healing stuff.” Mackey: “Rubbing down Chris, that’s sweet.

14.58 Evans: “Exciting when I read the script. When you bring DJR into a film it’s amazing. This leaves the MCU in a bit of disarray so will be great for future films.”

14.56 Feige: “Civil War came out during the construction of our film company, so I thought it’d be cool to do some day.” Also, Stan Lee’s role usually features in the draft scripts.

14.55 What was Fury and Hill doing during this film? Kevin Feige: “You’ll find out later.” Teasing.

14.55 The characters were put in for the story, not to make more movies. Black Panther doesn’t care about either side.

14.53 RDJ: Weekend at Bucky’s film is on the cards, with Falcon and Winter Soldier. We think they’re kidding 🙂

14.52 Cap would take vision’s powers, but not his makeup. Vision: “it might be nice to be Iron Man.” Renner: I’ve always liked Spider-Man.

14.50 How do you see the characters progressing and how much is that down to the script? RDJ: “looking back at the last 10 years, at what needed to happen to make things happen, Chris Marcus and McFeelly did an exceptional job on this.”

14.49 We’re not doing this one – massive spoiler! See, we love you 😀

14.48 Bucky’s scenes were all chopped up over a long period. Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier) says he did a lot of “acting with tennis balls”

14.47 Evans: Justice League hasn’t made us raise our game. We don’t make movies based on what anyone else does.

14.44 How do the guys with weaponry but no powers deal with the less-than civil war. Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson / Falcon): “Thighs and quads, baby. Gotta give them what they want. Can’t have a tree without the trunk!”

14.43 Vision and Wanda are joined by not knowing the extent of their powers. They both come from that stone.

14.42 Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch) didn’t feel like she had to be blokey amongst the testosterone. Neither did Emily.

14.41 Daniel Bruhl isn’t confirming more movies for his character. But he loved the character, such a human bad guy.

14.40 RDJ: Now two out of three Spideys are English, we need to talk Tobey Maguire down off the ledge.

14.38 Is Spider-Man’s recruit using child soldiers? Ant Russo: Tony doesn’t wan to lose this fight, and also sees Spidey as the greatest living non-lethal weapon. He believes he’s taking one of the most powerful Marvel characters, but he is mentoring him.

14.37 Rudd was aloowed to play around with the character. Felt the cousin turning up in The Brady Bunch.

14.36 “My questions for Paul?” “Which one?” “Rudd.” Awkward! Bettany: “My own town!”

14.34 Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter) is here! Is her relationship with STeve “a little icky”? “It is one generation removed, so no.”

14.33 Evans says they’ve never really fallen out on set, it’s “like a sumer camp”. Downey Jr says “speak for yourself, my son has started wearing Cap PJs and that breeds a resentment”

14.32 Which superhero would you choose to have in real life? The directors say it’s tough, but Bettany says “come on, I can pick up the hammer and am omnipotent”

14.31 Iron Man is out of suit a lot in the film. How does that play to your persona? He’s happy to play the character not “gussied-up”

14.30 Cap describes Iron Man as “charasmatic” while Iron Man calls Cap “Rad-ass”.

14.29 The directors describe themselves as action fetishists, although it has to define the characters and play to the story.

14.27 A loud whistle comes from the other room. Sounds like they’re being marshalled in our direction.

14.25 We’re expecting Chris Evans (Steve Rogers / Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark / Iron Man), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier), Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson / Falcon), Don Cheadle (Lieutenant James Rhodes / War Machine), Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton / Hawkeye), Chadwick Boseman (T’Challa / Black Panther), Paul Bettany (Vision), Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch), Anthony Russo (director) and his brother Joe Russo (director). There are 13 chairs, are our maths right?

14.22 First wobble of the hotel wi-fi. Don’t fail us now Corinthian!

14.19 Housekeeping rules. No filming, no photos, no live stream! So enjoy the text.

Kinetic Vibe To Bring B1A4 To Europe For First European Tour

header

Firstly, sorry for delivering the news a little late, and missing all the fun. Our very good friends over at Kinetic Vibe recently announced that they would be bringing the K-pop boy group B1A4 to Europe.

Although Kinetic Vibe had already secured Helsinki and Madrid for stops on the European tour, a third destination was yet to be decided. To keep things fun and to include fans worldwide, they gave Banas (that’s what B1A4’s fans are called) the chance to pick between Berlin and Milan as the third and final destination. Fan voted passionately as they took part in one huge SNS event, and the overall winner was Berlin.

Previously Kinetic Vibe had hinted that something big was coming to Europe with quirky daily updates leading up to the big unveiling, including a set of Emoji posters that represented each member of the group, or their “Goodnight, Sweet Dreams” poster which tied in with B1A4’s song “Goodnight.

Although some of the UK fans will be disappointed that B1A4 will not be playing in London this time round, do not fret: B1A4 will come back and visit more European countries in the future, especially if this tour goes well. Having been to their recent concert in Seoul and seen them on previous concerts, tours and events organised by the Kinetic vibe team, I can vouch that these performances are going to be events no B1A4 fan will want to miss out on.

TOPP DOGG's Hansol shows his dance skills in "Scissorhands"

The Japanese dance scene is one that is forever faithful to traditional genres and movement, but continues to elaborate and evolve its own language of dance. Recently the idea of fashion and dance are joined together as a collaborative in showing your own personality and rebelling against the constraints of the social norm.

Japanese models/dancers Aya and Bambi Sato are possibly the biggest thing to come from Japan’s dance scene in recent years, with their claim to fame being one of their workshops self-titled the “Bump Dub; the video showcases a style of dance all of its own but akin to that of Madonna’s “Vogue. Their fame from that singular video on YouTube had sparked a worldwide love for AyaBambi and had allowed the duo to be recognised by entertainers such as Madonna, Snakehips and Boa.

Dance is not the only thing that AyaBambi stand for. They are also recognised for their unique and beautifully composed fashion sense which revolves around the punk rock, goth and red carpet looks. Mixing leather and PVC they create a style not truly seen before: the girls managed to capture the hearts of designers such as Chalayan, NumeroTOKYO x Wacoal x Fashion Tsushin, and Lumine and performed some of their most memorable dance pieces for each brand.

But what does AyaBambi have to do with the Korean boy group TOPP DOGG? Well as fans of TOPP DOGG will know that member Hansol is a very unique and talented performer, known for his dynamic tastes in fashion, music and art. He has revealed a few times through his personal Instagram and through the Official Topp Dogg Twitter that he is a fan of AyaBambi and would like to work with them one day. This has also been something a lot of fans of both parties have wanted to see for a long time as well. But it seems as though Hansol wanted to show his dedication as a fan through his own video.

Showing his skills and dedication to the style we have associated with AyaBambi, Hansol went full out and created his own homage to the pair. He managed to re-create a manly yet perfect representation of the fashion sense accustomed with the Japanese duo, with a full PVC leather suit and baggy knee-length shorts. Showing the artistic side to his personality Hansol created a background story and then performed his own choreography with an onslaught of feelings and precision.

With TOPP DOGG coming to Europe on their tour, there is one question that had arisen since the release of this video: will Hansol be performing this on stage? There is only one way to find out! Check out the breathtaking video below.
