Evans: “I think it’s me, that’s not CG is it?” “I genuinely messed something up in my arm on the helicopter scene.” “There were many days I’d come into DJR’s trailer (almost namechecks Batman!) and he has cool healing stuff.” Mackey: “Rubbing down Chris, that’s sweet.

14.58 Evans: “Exciting when I read the script. When you bring DJR into a film it’s amazing. This leaves the MCU in a bit of disarray so will be great for future films.”

14.56 Feige: “Civil War came out during the construction of our film company, so I thought it’d be cool to do some day.” Also, Stan Lee’s role usually features in the draft scripts.

14.55 What was Fury and Hill doing during this film? Kevin Feige: “You’ll find out later.” Teasing.

14.55 The characters were put in for the story, not to make more movies. Black Panther doesn’t care about either side.

14.53 RDJ: Weekend at Bucky’s film is on the cards, with Falcon and Winter Soldier. We think they’re kidding 🙂

14.52 Cap would take vision’s powers, but not his makeup. Vision: “it might be nice to be Iron Man.” Renner: I’ve always liked Spider-Man.

14.50 How do you see the characters progressing and how much is that down to the script? RDJ: “looking back at the last 10 years, at what needed to happen to make things happen, Chris Marcus and McFeelly did an exceptional job on this.”

14.48 Bucky’s scenes were all chopped up over a long period. Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier) says he did a lot of “acting with tennis balls”

14.47 Evans: Justice League hasn’t made us raise our game. We don’t make movies based on what anyone else does.

14.44 How do the guys with weaponry but no powers deal with the less-than civil war. Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson / Falcon): “Thighs and quads, baby. Gotta give them what they want. Can’t have a tree without the trunk!”

14.43 Vision and Wanda are joined by not knowing the extent of their powers. They both come from that stone.

14.42 Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch) didn’t feel like she had to be blokey amongst the testosterone. Neither did Emily.

14.41 Daniel Bruhl isn’t confirming more movies for his character. But he loved the character, such a human bad guy.

14.40 RDJ: Now two out of three Spideys are English, we need to talk Tobey Maguire down off the ledge.

14.38 Is Spider-Man’s recruit using child soldiers? Ant Russo: Tony doesn’t wan to lose this fight, and also sees Spidey as the greatest living non-lethal weapon. He believes he’s taking one of the most powerful Marvel characters, but he is mentoring him.

14.37 Rudd was aloowed to play around with the character. Felt the cousin turning up in The Brady Bunch.

14.34 Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter) is here! Is her relationship with STeve “a little icky”? “It is one generation removed, so no.”

14.33 Evans says they’ve never really fallen out on set, it’s “like a sumer camp”. Downey Jr says “speak for yourself, my son has started wearing Cap PJs and that breeds a resentment”

14.32 Which superhero would you choose to have in real life? The directors say it’s tough, but Bettany says “come on, I can pick up the hammer and am omnipotent”

14.31 Iron Man is out of suit a lot in the film. How does that play to your persona? He’s happy to play the character not “gussied-up”

14.30 Cap describes Iron Man as “charasmatic” while Iron Man calls Cap “Rad-ass”.

14.29 The directors describe themselves as action fetishists, although it has to define the characters and play to the story.

14.27 A loud whistle comes from the other room. Sounds like they’re being marshalled in our direction.
